Appka is, as the name suggests, a beer in the American Pale Ale style and hopped with American varieties. Light color, weaker body and pleasant cold hopping significantly support drinkability. The taste of the beer is soft without significant bitterness, orange with a bit of peach and overall well balanced.
About the brewery:
The Haksna brewery was created as a "craft" offshoot of the restaurant brewery Starobelská Koliba near Ostrava. It is made up of a team of young enthusiasts who are dedicated to brewing beer in a model style. In their portfolio, they have beers for true connoisseurs who want to try something new, unconventional. You can taste ales, IPYs, sours, saisons, stout and porter from them. They invent recipes not only according to the season, but also discover new flavors and combinations, which are often an unforgettable experience. The name of the brewery is a noun denoting a leg, limb or leg, because it simply kicks you up and lifts you out of your chair!
