Kamenice IPA is a top-fermented beer brewed from two types of malt and hopped with 2 varieties of hops. It is characterized by a dark golden color, a fruity-citrus aroma, which is also pronounced in taste and higher bitterness. The taste is pleasantly malty, full of citrus and pine and provides a long bitter finish.
About the brewery:
The history of the brewery in Kamenice nad Lipou began as early as 1636 and it was a quite successful brewery until the arrival of the communists in the 1950s. The renovation of the brewery took place in 2016. Since then, the brewery has been quite successful in establishing itself in Czech and Moravian breweries, and their lagers have become a popular alternative to commercial breweries. The brewery in Kamenice is divided into a standard large brewery with a 30 hl brewhouse and a minibrewery with a smaller 500 l brewhouse, which is used by a number of flying breweries and where workshops and beer brewing courses are held. In its portfolio, Kamenice has excellent lagers as well as well-rated top-fermented pale specials and stouts.
