A bold West Coast style IPA with aromas of pine and citrus hops, subtle malty sweetness and refreshing bitterness. Brewed using American hop varieties, resulting in a bold, fruity and refreshing IPA. It is suitable for any occasion and is guaranteed to satisfy the taste buds of every hop lover.
About the brewery:
O'Hara's /Carlow Brewery is an independent Irish family brewery founded in 1996. It is located in Carlow in the Barrow Valley, a traditional Irish hop and barley growing region. The brewery is located in a former warehouse near the railway station, and the advantage of this place is that there is very hard water, which is suitable for brewing ales. Their first beer was Irish Stout, which is still a bestseller. However, the brewery also has quite a wide portfolio of other top-fermented beers, for which it wins awards at beer competitions. It also produces ciders. The brewery's exhibition is continuously growing, and in 2017 the Spanish Hijos de Rivera, which is behind, for example, Estrella Galicia beer, entered it as a shareholder. Seamus O'Hara is also the founder of the Irish Craft Beer & Cider Festival, which has been held annually since 2011.
