A handsome Czech lager from the Proud microbrewery, which is part of Pilsner Urquell. It will offer a pleasant refreshment similar to light modern lagers. Its good drinkability and less bitterness is accompanied by light caramel and fruity notes.
About the brewery:
The microbrewery is located in the building of the former power station on the grounds of the Pilsner Urquell brewery in Pilsen. Brewers Lenka Strakova and Martin Skoda were behind the project, who had previously worked on the development of beers for the Brewers' Choice special program of Pilsner Urquell. This attractive beer production was the inspiration for the establishment of an "independent" microbrewery. However, this idea of Pilsner Urquell was not accepted on the Czech craft beer market, so Asahi decided to flood the market with the Proud advertising and sell the beer in supermarkets and completely abandon the idea of a microbrewery.
